Description
An open-sided block plane with a blade that spans the full 1-3/4" body width, purpose-built for cutting rabbets, fitting tenons, and trimming into corners. Two circular A2 steel nickers protrude .010" on each side to sever wood fibers cleanly on cross-grain cuts. Modeled on the Sargent No. 507 and named Best Value Block Plane by Fine Woodworking in 2014. Made in Warren, Maine.
