Developed with late jazz legend Louie Bellson, the A New Beat Hi-Hat is Zildjian's most versatile hi-hat — machine-hammered and lathed with a traditional wide groove at their Norwell, MA factory. The bottom cymbal is thicker than the top, producing a crisp, authoritative 'chick' on the downstroke and a rich open sizzle when played at half-open, with a pure, bright, expressive voice suited to any style.
