Description

Counter and bar stool whose distinctive back is formed from a single piece of hardwood shaped to an anticlastic curve — a double curvature resembling a potato chip — that supports the lumbar in two directions simultaneously. The design was sparked by a simple cafeteria chair that caught Tom and Mary Moser's attention on a Maine-to-Nova Scotia ferry. Available in cherry or walnut at 25", 27", or custom seat heights. Each stool is handcrafted in Auburn, Maine and signed by the craftsperson who made it.

Made in the USA

Handcrafted at Thos. Moser's 80,000 sq ft workshop in Auburn, Maine.
