Continuing the design first built in 1927, the Style 1 Tricone deploys three resonating aluminum cones for a fuller, more harmonically complex voice than a singlecone. Polished nickel-plated brass body pairs with a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with ivoroid binding, and a slotted headstock with National's classic shield decal. The instrument of choice for Hawaiian lap steel and acoustic Delta blues.
