Description
Invented and patented by Kamaka founder Samuel Kamaka Sr. in 1928, the pineapple-shaped ukulele produces a fuller, slightly deeper and rounder sound than the standard soprano figure-eight model due to its unique rounded body. This signature Kamaka design is still handcrafted in Honolulu from locally sourced Hawaiian koa, exactly as it was nearly a century ago.
Made in the USA
Handcrafted at the Kamaka Hawaii factory, 550 South Street, Honolulu, HI. The pineapple body shape was invented and patented by founder Samuel Kamaka Sr. in 1928.
