Description

Herman Miller's accessible ergonomic chair, designed by Yves Béhar of fuseproject and assembled in Zeeland, Michigan. The Sayl's frameless suspension back draws on the engineering principles of a suspension bridge — a Y-tower spine and horizontal tension cables support the back without traditional upholstery, allowing each section of the back to flex independently and keep up with natural movement. Its open design dramatically reduces materials while maintaining structural integrity.
