The ETHOS features Earthworks' extended high-frequency response (up to 30 kHz), extremely low self-noise, and a front-address cardioid polar pattern that rejects room reflections. The stainless steel capsule housing is machined at Earthworks' Milford, NH factory, with hand-tuning performed on every unit.
