Authentic reproduction of the WWII-era B-3 sheepskin bomber jacket, originally designed to keep aviators warm in unpressurized aircraft cabins above 20,000 feet. Features thick, supple sheepskin with a nappa leather finished exterior, leather welted seams, double buckle throat latch, heavy-duty front zipper with wind flap, side-entry hand warmer pockets, two interior zip pockets, and adjustable belted waist straps. Cockpit USA's founder rediscovered the original lost technique for the vintage antique leather finish — a process still used in Brooklyn today.
