Founded in 1923 in Elgin, Illinois, Sellstrom is one of America's oldest safety equipment brands. For over a century, Sellstrom has manufactured face shields, protective goggles, welding helmets, and eye protection at their Elgin, IL facility. Their 380 and 390 Series face shields — each carrying a 'Made in the USA' designation — are produced using superior polycarbonate and acetate windows engineered for industrial use. Sellstrom is now a Jackson Safety brand under SureWerx, but US face shield manufacturing remains in Elgin.
