Santa Ana, California guitar manufacturer founded in 1931 and builder of the world's first modern electric guitars. Every Rickenbacker instrument is handbuilt at their 37,000-square-foot factory in Santa Ana by a workforce that has included many decades-long employees, and sold exclusively through authorized dealers.
