Founded in 1991 by audio engineer Nelson Pass, the company is renowned for its pure Class A amplifier designs that are hand-assembled at their Northern California facility using locally sourced components where possible. Every Pass Labs amplifier undergoes a three-day burn-in process before shipping, and the company keeps as much production in-house as possible, hiring locally in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
