Widdy Dart Board Mfg.
Lansdale, PAFounded 1910
Widdy Dart Board Mfg. has handcrafted American-style darts and dart boards in the Philadelphia area since 1910, making it one of the oldest manufacturers in the American darts industry. Founded by Charles Widmeier Sr., the family-owned company began producing its signature tournament darts in the early 1930s under Charles Widmeier Jr., who invented and patented the rotating-center paper dart board. In 1943, Widdy fulfilled a US War Department contract for approximately one million darts shipped to troops and USOs worldwide. Today the company operates from Lansdale, PA, continuing to handcraft No. 1 and No. 2 Official Tournament Darts with turkey feather flights alongside traditional basswood and paper dart boards.
