Schoolhouse
Portland, Oregon manufacturer of handcrafted lighting and home goods founded in 2003 by Brian Faherty. Schoolhouse discovered a set of original cast-iron glass shade molds and built an entire brand around reviving them in their own century-old brick factory. Their Benchmade collection is designed, hand-finished, assembled, and shipped from that same Portland factory, preserving American manufacturing techniques that stretch back to the 1930s.
