Rain-X
Automotive surface care brand best known for its hydrophobic silicone glass treatment that causes rain to bead and roll off windshields. Founded in 1972 by chemist Frank Knapp, Rain-X is now owned by ITW Global Brands, a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works. The car care division is headquartered in Houston, Texas. Note: Rain-X liquid glass and surface-care products carry a 'Made in USA of US and foreign components' qualified label; Rain-X-branded wiper blades are imported and not represented here.
