Founded in 1985 in Tipton, Pennsylvania, New Pig Corporation invented the industrial absorbent sock by stuffing ground corncob into cut-up pantyhose to contain machine leaks. Today the company offers the world's largest selection of spill-control and absorbent products — mats, socks, booms, spill kits, and drip pans — and continues to manufacture its own absorbents at the same Tipton, PA facility where it started, shipping to more than 300,000 facilities in over 100 countries.
