Kyser Musical Products has been hand-crafting quick-change guitar capos in Kaufman, Texas since 1980. Founded by Milton Kyser, a retired machinist who developed the patented quick-release spring mechanism in his garage starting in 1975, the company builds every capo by hand using American-made materials. It takes 20 people to assemble just one Kyser capo through a multi-step manufacturing process. Kyser capos are among the most recognized in the world, used by professional musicians on major stages globally.
