Koss Corporation invented the first high-fidelity stereo headphone in 1958 and has been based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin ever since. The company designs, engineers, and assembles its electrostatic headphone line — including the flagship ESP/950 — at its Milwaukee, WI factory, making it one of the only headphone manufacturers that still builds products in the United States.
