The name GHS comes from the surnames of the three founders who started winding strings at this Michigan facility over sixty years ago. GHS produces strings for electric and acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and other instruments entirely in Battle Creek, and is best known for Boomers electric strings and the Fast Fret string cleaner.
