Carolina Glove & Safety Company

One of the last remaining US-based manufacturers of work gloves, Carolina Glove has operated cut-and-sew and knitting facilities in Conover, Newton, Catawba, and Taylorsville, North Carolina since 1946. A third-generation family business owned by the Abernethy family, the company produces more than 4,000 styles of industrial work gloves—including leather drivers, welders, canvas, jersey, knit, coated, Kevlar, and specialty safety gloves—at a capacity exceeding 65,000 dozen pairs per week.
