Ben Nye Company

Ben Nye Company is Hollywood's oldest independent professional makeup manufacturer, producing theatrical, film, and stage makeup by hand in Los Angeles since 1967. Founded by legendary 20th Century Fox Makeup Director Ben Nye Sr.—who oversaw makeup on more than 500 films and TV productions—the family-owned company remains run by his son Dana Nye. Nearly all products are still handcrafted at the Los Angeles facility, and Ben Nye explicitly prohibits sale through Amazon, eBay, and other third-party marketplaces to protect product integrity.
