Founded in 2012 by chef Andris Lagsdin — whose family has operated Stoughton Steel for over 40 years — Baking Steel handcrafts ultra-conductive carbon steel baking surfaces in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Every steel is cut, pre-seasoned by hand, and shipped directly from the family's Massachusetts facility.
